stop scanning a server

1. Add the word lucky-optout to your server's MOTD (the text under the server name in the server list). Any colour is fine. Put it near the start. If your MOTD rotates, put it in every entry so the check cannot miss it.
2. Enter your server's address below. Add the port if it is not 25565 and your host did not set it up for you.
3. Press Check.
4. You can remove the word once this page says you are opted out.

If you use Velocity or BungeeCord, the word must be in the MOTD players see. That is usually the one in the proxy's config. Each port players can reach directly needs its own check.

To end your opt-out before its end date, remove lucky-optout from your MOTD, put lucky-optin in, and press Check. Then press Check again at least an hour later. When the page says the opt-out has ended, remove the word. You can also do nothing: the opt-out ends by itself on its end date.

An opt-out lasts one year. To renew it, add lucky-optout to your MOTD again and press Check. The new end date is one year from that check. If you are not sure whether you are still opted out, do the same: it is safe to check again.

• Only the exact IP address and port that was checked. Each port players can reach directly needs its own check.
• It lasts one year from the check that saw the word, then ends by itself. We do not check your server again during that year.
• A server that is offline, or a MOTD without the word, never ends an opt-out early. Only the end date or opting back in ends it.
• If your IP address changes, the new address is covered only if the word is still in your MOTD. Our scanners read it when they first reach the new address, usually within an hour, and may probe it once before then. Otherwise, check again from your new address.
• If you leave the word in, our scanners may renew the opt-out on their own after it ends. To be sure, renew it here.
• Servers on a shared, name-routed host (such as Aternos or Minehut) cannot be confirmed by this page. Use email instead.

Some hosts do not let you edit the MOTD, and a shared, name-routed host answers our check with its own front end rather than your server. In either case, email contact@lucky.systems with your server address and we will handle it by hand.
